Multiple subjects will be connected by the word AND. If a singular subject is separated by a comma from an accompanying phrase, it remains regular.

    Examples :

    incorrect              : Joni, Siska and I is going to the library.

    correct                  : Joni, Siska and I are going to the library.

    incorrect              : His knowledge of languages and international relations aid him in his job.

    correct                  : His knowledge of languages and international relations aids him in his job.

    incorrect              : Sir Alex, accompanied by his wife, were at the party.

    correct                  : Sir Alex, accompanied by his wife, was at the party.

    incorrect              : There is many reasons why I can`t help you.

    correct                  : There are many reasons why I can`t help you.
